Calques in Philippine Languages - reversed

I've seen the reverse, as well...
Tagalog speaking salesgirls will ask, "Sir, ma'am what is that?"
They are translating the Tagalog "Ano iyon" which is the pragmatic equivalent to "May I help you?"
