[An-lang] Form and function of rhetorical questions in Austronesian languages

Dear colleagues,

I'm currently working on rhetorical questions in Papuan Malay. As part 
of my write-up, I would like to compare the form and functions of PM 
rhetorical questions with those found in other Austronesian languages. 
Are you aware of any studies on other Austronesian languages that focus 
on rhetorical questions in these languages?
