Abstracts are welcomed for 20 minute talks on any aspect of
theoretical linguistics (e.g. phonetics, phonology, morphology,
syntax, semantics, historical linguistics, language acquisition,
language processing). Applicants are limited to one
singly-authored and one jointly-authored abstract. Abstracts
should be one page long, with an optional second page for data and/or
references. Submissions may be made by regular mail or
email.<br>

<div>Deadline for receipt of abstracts: <b> January 25,
2002</b><br>

To submit an abstract by regular mail, send 5 anonymous copies of the
abstract to the address below. Also include an index card
bearing your name, affiliation, your mailing address, email address,
paper title, the subdiscipline or your abstract (e.g. phonology,
syntax, etc.), and status (student or non-student).<br>

For submission by email, send one copy of your abstract, along with
your name, address, subdiscipline, and status to:

This year, two outstanding student abstracts will be selected to
receive an award covering conference expenses (travel up to $500 and
accommodations). For those eligible, please indicate student
status on your abstract to ensure that you will be considered for
these awards.<br>
