w:st="on">Surrey</st1:PlaceName> is looking for a part time Research Assistant
to work on the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName
w:st="on">British</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType
w:st="on">Academy</st1:PlaceType></st1:place> funded project ‘Essential
documentation of seven highly endangered Oceanic languages.’ The project will
work with existing field materials gathered in the <st1:country-region
w:st="on">Solomon Islands</st1:country-region> and <st1:place
w:st="on">Bougainville</st1:place> to make primary documentation on the
languages available as a digital resource via the worldwide web and the
PARADISEC and ELAR electronic archives. <o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
