be French and English. </big></font><br>
<blockquote><font face="Georgia"><big><small>The organisers would be
very grateful if you were willing, when possible, to also send a French
abstract, even imperfect French, as this will help us a lot with the
translation process. Bilingualism is a legal requirement for
conferences in France, and in addition, this will ensure funding from
at least one generous agency.</small></big></font><br>

abstracts is September 30, 2008. </big></font><br>

minutes</b> each – 20 for presentation and 10 for discussion. But note

also invited. Participants interested in organising a panel should

<h3><font face="Georgia"><big>How to get to Aussois and when to get
there ?</big></font></h3>
<div align="justify"><font face="Georgia"><big>Aussois is a mountain
resort in the French
Alps, close to the Italian border. </big></font><br>
<blockquote><font face="Georgia"><big>Access to Aussois is through
Modane, a city in the valley some 10 kms
below Aussois.<br>
Modane is on the Paris-Torino TGV line (the bullet train). The
line stops at three international airports : Paris-CDG, Lyon-St-Exupéry
and Torino. Paris, Lyon and Torino have daily international flights.
It is convenient to fly in to Paris or Lyon in France, or to
Torino in Italy, and then take the TGV to Modane. </big></font><font
face="Georgia"><big>A shuttle bus will take you from Modane to Aussois
on June 21st,
leaving Modane train station at 7:30 pm (after the last train from
Paris).</big></font><br>

<font face="Georgia"><big>Participants are expected to arrive in
Aussois in the evening of
<b>June 21st</b>. The conference proper will begin in the morning of
June 22 and
will end in the afternoon of June 25. A social programme will be
organised on June 26. </big></font><br>
