The Journal of the Polynesian Society is publishing its old volumes
on-line, fully searchable, at:
http://www.jps.auckland.ac.nz/browse.php

So far, they've put 1892-1936 online, but add another year's issues
every week or so.

There are some classic studies, including first grammars and
vocabularies of many Polynesian languages, and much else.

Most of the contributors were actually there when the languages were
still vital, or even original, so their articles are worthwhile.

Highly recommended
