<p class="MsoNormal">Linguistics at the University of Newcastle is home of the Endangered Languages Documentation, Theory and Application Research Program, and a leading centre for research in Pacific languages. It is currently ranked in the top 100 linguistics
departments in the QS World University Rankings<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">A number of PhD scholarships have become available for Australian or New Zealand citizens who recently completed Honours (in 2013 or 2014). Expressions of interest are urgently sought from suitable students. Interested individuals should
