CENTRE FOR MIDDLE EASTERN AND ISLAMIC STUDIES
Lectureship in Arabic (one year appointment) #16,286 - #22,578 p.a.
Required to teach on a range of courses at undergraduate and
postgraduate level (including an MA in Arabic/English
translation) and to supervise PhD students in Arabic
linguistics and Arabic/English translation. Successful
applicants will preferably have a doctorate and wide
experience of teaching Arabic as a foreign language. He/she
will also be research active with a proven research record.
The Centre is particularly interested in specialists in
