Subject: Licence plates in Saudi Arabia

Greetings all,

License plates in Saudi Arabia used to be exclusively with numbers that are
printed in both Arabic and Hindi numerals. However, in the last few years this
has changed. Now, license plates are composed of three letters (Arabic not
Roman) followed by some numbers written in Hindi Numerals. Part of the reason
they started to use a combination of numbers and letters is that they ran
out of
numbers (given the limited space of the license plate).
