Subject: Antilebanon etymology

Someone has asked me what the etymology of the form Antilebanon is.
It is the name of the mountain range and apparently other features in
Lebanon (a highway?). They want to know, particularly, if the 'Anti'
part is European or of Arabic origin. Does anyone know?
Dil
