Subject: el-Zanaty Khalifa replies

Zanati Khalifa is a main figure in the Epic (Sira) of Bani Hilal in in its
last phase (in Tunisia). He is the nemesis of Dhiab al-Hilali, the hero of
this phase who marries the legendary Al-Jazia. He is called Zanati because he
is from one of the major Amazigh (Berber) tribes which populated North
Africa.

  I think Zanati is the nisba adjective of the name Zanata that is a
tribe in North Africa.
