Subject:Arabic for 'race' and 'ethnicity'

A question has come up again on what could be the most appropriate
translation of the terms "race" and "ethnicity". Those two terms are
used in many government forms related to immigration and many other
purposes. Some Arab social organizations are putting an Arabic
translation for such terms and are facing a challenge on how to
distinguish between the two terms, I have offered my suggestions but not
comfortable with them. Any other opinions and suggestions would highly
be appreciated.
