About "rape" just look at the following verbs : balaqa ; jalaxa ;  
jalada ;
HaTara ; qamTara
etc.

Hi,

What does Ightisob then mean? As Arab speakers Ightisob means rape to  
us. Tt could have other meanings but all of those meannings apply to  
taking someone's right by force and illegitimately. And rape is one of  
these actions. It seems that some writers claim that they know  
everything under the sun, and they make general comments which show  
their lack of the basic manners of scholarship.
