Brandeis University announces a position in Arabic language  
instruction for academic year 2006-2007:

Full-time Arabic Instructor. The Department of Near Eastern and  
Judaic Studies at Brandeis University announces a full-time position  
in Arabic beginning in Fall 2006; rank and term will depend on  
experience.  The position is outside the tenure track.  Applicants  
should have solid teaching experience.  Responsibilities include  
three courses per semester at the beginner, intermediate, and  
advanced levels.  Fluency in Modern Standard Arabic is required and  
native or near native fluency in an Arabic dialect is desirable.  MA  
or PhD in Arabic language and literature or applied linguistics is  
also desirable.  Salary is competitive e and commensurate with  
experience.  First consideration will be given to applications  
received by November 15, 2005.  Brandeis University is an equal
