Now Hiring for a Lecturer Position in Arabic.
The Department of Near Eastern Languages & Civilization (NELC),  
invites applications for the position of Arabic instructor to teach  
Arabic as a foreign language at various levels in the NELC Summer  
Arabic Program 2007 (June 18 – August 18, 2007).  Applicants should  
be in Seattle by June 15 to prepare for summer teaching.  Applicants  
should also have experience in teaching the textbook Al-Kitaab fii  
Ta’allum al-‘Arabiyya (Brustad, al-Batal, al-Tonsi) and should  
welcome team spirit.  Send applications, including a cover letter  
explaining qualifications and teaching philosophy, curriculum vitae,  
sample teaching materials, and two letters of recommendation to:  
Chairperson, Arabic Search Committee, NELC, Box 353120, University of  
Washington, Seattle WA 98195-3120. The University of Washington is an
