Subject:Ibn Amir Al Mansur query

Dear all:

Does anyone know much about, or has written or read anything about
the In-Charge of the Ummayyad Caliphate (976-1002) in andalusia Ibn
Amir Mohamed Al Mansoor, nicknamed the Victorious (al mansoor, in
Arabic)? (in Arabic, Spanish, French, english or German)

I am particularly interested in him being an aberration of the
Umayyad Caliphate, having usurped _ and through murder and michief
and brutality_ taken complete control of power upon the death of
Caliph Al Hakam II, (Caliph Hicham was only 12 yrs old so he was kept
as figure-head Caliph), and also in him possibly being responsible
for rushing the fall of the muslim Caliphate due to his very
ambitious and aggressive attacks on the northern CHristian kingdoms
(for exple: his sacking and desecration of the holiest Christian site
at the time: Santiago de Compostela, in 997, after which Christians
unified more than ever against the moors!)

I would really apprecaite anyone's help

Wa shukran!!!
