Subject:Frequency of Root Usage Query

Hello,

Is there any recent study that gives statistical data on the frequency
of Arabic root usage? Greenberg’s study (1950) only accounted for root
frequency in dictionaries. But how frequently are these roots used,
say in the press, or in literature?

Is there any option in Parkinson’s Arabic Corpus (or any other free
online corpus which I do not know about) that permits viewing such
information?

Thank you very much.
