Subject: Ogaden Arabic query

Has anyone ever heard of an Arabic dialect spoken in the Ogaden in SE  
Ethiopia?

Lionel Bender in a 1971 article in Anthropological Linguistics  
includes a word list for 'Ogaden Arabic'.

But I can find no other reference to the existence of an Arabic- 
speaking population in that part of the world--
neither in the Encyclopedia of Arabic Language and Linguistics, nor in  
Ethnologue.

Any ideas?
