Bahrain Teachers’ College at Bahrain University invites applicants for a full time Instructor or assistant Professor of Arabic Language to begin in spring or fall 2011. 
Required qualities for the position include:
-      PhD in Arabic linguistics or education
-      Native or near-native fluency in Arabic and English
-      Three years experience minimum in teaching Arabic at the higher education
-      K-12 classroom experience
-      Excellent English and Arabic speaking, reading, listening and writing skills
-      PhD from a Western University
-      An established research agenda
-      A commitment to service
