Adjunct position in Arabic and Translation Studies Department:
The Department of Arabic and Translation Studies at the American University of Sharjah (AUS) invites applicants for a one-semester position as an adjunct to teach three hours a week, Gulf Arabic during the (AUS) Fall semester 2011 (possibly renewable depending on student interest and funding). The successful candidate is expected to teach one course of Gulf Arabic for non-native speakers of Arabic (3 credits).
Native or near-native fluency in Arabic and excellent English expected. 
Preference will be given to applicants with an MA in language acquisition, pedagogy, Arabic language, or a related field.
