Subject:Needs research that surveys textbook usage in US

Hi All,

I am wondering if anyone can direct me to any published research or
articles that survey the use of Arabic teaching materials at different
universities in the United States, particularly for the first 2 or 3 years
of study. In other words, how many programs are using Alif Baa/Al-Kitaab
versus Ahlan wa Sahlan or other textbooks? Failing that, is there any way
to get annual sales data for these publications?

Thanks,
Kevin Burnham
