ATS has an opening for a Cryptologic Arabic MSA/Levantine Language
Instructor-2
Location: Linthicum Heights, Maryland

Functional Responsibilities:
The Arabic MSA/Levantine Instructor will develop and teach language courses
in accordance with Instruction I-04; Tailor approaches in accordance with
student learning styles and strategies; Supplement instruction with
contemporary authentic material; Join instructional teams as required; Use
classroom technology such as SmartBoard/Symposium, audio/video/DVD
components, and computer applications such as Microsoft Office; Use blended
delivery modes such as platform, online, distance, asynchronous eLearning
technology and self-paced instruction; provide constructive feedback on
 student progress.

Minimum Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform
each functional responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed
below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Native Speaker with an ILR proficiency level 4 in reading and listening in
Arabic MSA/Levantine
Minimum ILR level 2+ in reading, writing, speaking, and listening in English
Bachelor’s degree
Five years of experience in adult language education and methodology to
include:

Three years of experience developing and teaching using blended learning.
Three years of experience developing and teaching language courses from
basic through advanced level, with a focus on translation, grammar,
listening and reading comprehension, speaking and writing.
Two years of experience in identifying and using authentic materials to
support objectives
Two years of experience in assessing student performance.
