Subject: UVA Jordan Summer Program

Study Arabic in Jordan this summer! On the UVa in Jordan program, students
will take two semesters of Arabic language plus additional credits in
Jordanian Arabic and Media Arabic (as applicable).

UVa in Jordan has fourteen USDE Fulbright-Hays fellowships in the amount of
$4,120 available for qualified students who have completed two or more
years of college-level Arabic to participate in the program. The
fellowships are competitive and information from the students’ program
applications will be used to decide fellowship awards.

Students will gain valuable language and communication skills as well as
international experience.
For more information about the program, check out the website,

If you have questions about the program, please contact Prof. Mohammed
Sawaie, Program Director (ms at virginia.edu) or Ms. Leah Barber, Education
