Research Assistant Position in Natural Language Processing - NYU Abu Dhabi
(BS/MS required)

This posting is for a research assistant in the Computational Approaches to
Modeling Language (CAMeL) lab led by Professor Nizar Habash at New York
University Abu Dhabi.  CAMeL is a newly established research lab with a
focus on Arabic Natural Language Processing (NLP). Areas of research
include machine translation, morphological modeling (analysis, generation,
disambiguation), syntactic analysis, dialect adaptation and modeling, and
computer-assisted learning.

We are looking for creative, hard-working individuals who will help design
and develop tools, apps and systems for Arabic NLP.  This is a perfect job
for someone with a bachelors or masters degree in computer science or
engineering who is interested in going to graduate school later on and who
wants to enrich his/her CV with experience and publications.
Qualifications include strong technical skills, especially in data
analysis, web programming, and machine learning.  Previous experience in
NLP (or specifically Arabic NLP) in any of the areas mentioned above is a
plus.

This position is based in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. Salary and Benefits are
