Applicants should preferably have a Ph.D. or ABD in Arabic or applied linguistics, but those with a Master's degree and considerable experience in Arabic language teaching are also encouraged to apply. Applicants should have native or near-native fluency in Modern Standard Arabic, at least one dialect, and English. We are seeking a professional candidate with a serious commitment to teaching Arabic for academic purposes along the ACTFL proficiency guidelines.
