The Department of Arabic Studies invites applications for faculty<br>positions in English/Arabic Translation. The successful candidate will have<br>a Ph.D. in Translation Studies or a closely related field, be a native<br>speaker of English, and have the ability to teach translation from Arabic<br>into English. The successful candidate will be expected to teach both<br>undergraduate and graduate courses. Preference will be given to candidates<br>in the area of corpora studies, machine translation, terminology, and<br>language engineering with a focus on Arabic and to candidates who can<br>contribute to the Arabic Studies program. <br><br>2.
