Brockelmann, <i>Kurzgefasste v</i><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic; ">ergleichende Grammatik der semitischen Sprachen</span> (Berlin: Reuter & Reichard, 1908) §47. In Iraqi and Levantine Arabic it is hel (pronounced with a long vowel) and in Standard Arabic it is Hab al-haal.
