The central topics of the conference are:<br><br>•Impediments to the teaching and learning of Arabic<br>•Assessment of Arabic students, classes and programs<br>•Creative responses to the DOD framework for regional and cultural expertise<br><br>In addition to these topics, we invite student demonstrations of Arabic skills and presentations of other academic and linguistic products by students of U.S. Government Arabic Studies programs.
