<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium; white-space: normal; ">Dear colleagues,<br><br>I am curious to know: is there is any academic study, in the U.S. or <br>elsewhere of the dialect poetry that appears in song lyrics in the <br>Arab world? I have designed an advanced Arabic dialect course based <br>on Um Kalthoum and Fairuz-Rahbani lyrics.
