The successful candidates are<br>expected to teach the Arabic language (Modern Standard and dialects) at all<br>levels of proficiency. <br><br>Basic Qualifications: Native or near native fluency in Arabic and excellent<br>command of English; M.A. in Arabic or related field; experience in teaching<br>Arabic at college level and use of technology in language teaching. <br>Preferred Qualifications: ACTFL testing certification in Arabic is<br>desirable and commitment to assistance in curriculum development.<br><br>To Apply: Send a letter of application, a statement of teaching philosophy<br>and use of technology in teaching Arabic, curriculum vitae, sample syllabi,<br>tests and teaching materials, teaching evaluations, a videotaped teaching<br>demonstration, along with three letters of recommendation to the<br>application address listed below.
