Ph.D. in Arabic or Linguistics required by time of appointment, August, 2011. Area of research specialization is open, but the ideal candidate will be able to lead the development of an Arabic language program as well as contribute to the BA and MA programs in Linguistics and have the ability to teach a broad range of undergraduate and graduate linguistics courses. Near-native fluency in Arabic and a proven record of excellence in teaching and scholarship required.
