We have numerous educational kits from a project called Panwapa that are geared towards children ages 4-7 to emobdy concepts like social inclusion, mutual respect and understanding, and global citizenry. A number of these kits are in Arabic and I would like to know if anyone is interested in receiving some for use as teaching materials in their classroom? Below is a brief blurb about the project, and you can obtain more information from the website: <a href="http://www.panwapa.org">http://www.panwapa.org</a>.</div><div><br></div><div>Panwapa, created by the educational experts behind Sesame Street, is a multimedia, global</div><div>initiative that is designed to inspire and empower a new generation of children, ages four</div><div>to seven, to be responsible global citizens. Research based materials come in a range of media platforms, including online, video, and print. By using the project’s activities, which reinforce</div><div>educational objectives, you can guide children in building age-appropriate skills and knowledge. These</div><div>building blocks can help prepare kids to contribute to their communities—in ways that will have a positive and lasting impact, both locally and globally. As they learn and grow, children can become motivated, responsible global citizens. </div><div><br></div><div>Please contact me at <a href="mailto:zainab.kabba@sesame.org">zainab.kabba@sesame.org</a> if you would like copies of some of the materials.</div><div><br></div><div>Thank you.</div><div><br></div><div>Zainab Kabba</div><div>Senior Educational Content Specialist</div><div>Global Education</div><div>Sesame Workshop</div><div>One Lincoln Plaza</div><div>New York, NY 10023</div><div>212.875.6347</div><div><br></div>--------------------------------------------------------------------------<br>End of Arabic-L: 14 Dec 2010</body></html>
