Special arrangements will be made with local hotels for a limited number of rooms at a special conference rate. <br><br>Call for Papers:<br><br>The main goal of this symposium is to bring together scholars working on some of the issues that are being addressed within the context of languages, culture, and intercultural communication. Specifically, the symposium seeks to provide an overview of the state-of-the-art, explore new directions and emerging trends in cultures and languages. <br><br>Thematic areas include (but are not confined to):<br><br>- Language, Culture and Identity<br>- Cultural Representation & Cultural Translation<br>- Literacy & Ethnography <br>- Language Policy and Planning<br>- Multilingualism and Education<br>- Intercultural Communication & Globalization<br>- Intercultural Rhetoric & Discourse<br><br>Presentations will be allowed 20 minutes plus an additional 10 minutes for discussion. Please submit a 250-word abstract by 30th of June 2011 to Pr. Abdelkader Sabil (<a href="mailto:abdelkaders@gmail.com">abdelkaders@gmail.com</a>).
