Menschen als Erst- oder Zweitsprache im Königreich<br>Marokko und in der großen Diaspora von Arbeitsmigranten gesprochen wird. Da<br>es keine geschriebene Sprache ist (in Marokko sind die offiziellen<br>Schriftsprachen Standardarabisch, Französisch und neuerdings auch<br>Berberisch), gibt es einen dynamischen Koinéisierungsprozeß, der zu einer<br>Art gesprochenem Standard führt, bei dem normativen Interferenzen keine<br>Rolle spielen. Dadurch ist das marokkanische Arabische aufschlußreich für<br>die Erforschung von Standardisierungsprozessen. Von besonderem Interesse<br>ist die sprachliche Varietät der großen Gruppe von Sprecher mit<br>marokkanischem Arabisch als Zweitsprache, deren Familiensprache eine<br>berberische Varietät ist.<br><br>Diese Strukturskizze basiert auf einem großen Corpus von Sprachaufnahmen,<br>sowohl Narrativen wie spontanen Gesprächen, aus denen der gemeinsame Kern<br>der marokkanischen Koiné (der dort sog. Darija) extrapoliert wird. Dabei<br>werden die verschiedenen strukturellen Ebenen behandelt: Phonologie mit<br>Einschluß der Prosodie, Morphologie (sowohl Flexion wie Wortbildung),<br>Syntax (einfache und komplexe Sätze, Makrostrukturen: Episodengliederung<br>bei Narrativen u. dgl.), sowie das Lexikon. Die Darstellung ist typologisch<br>ausgerichtet und macht keine spezifischen theoretischen Voraussetzungen. <br><br>Der Band enthält mehre Textbeispiele, die komplexe Phänomene<br>veranschaulichen (Definitheitsmarkierungen, Aspektunterschiede u.a.).<br><br>Moroccan Arabic is a regional variety of Arabic spoken by more than 30<br>million people as either a first or second language in the Kingdom of<br>Morocco and in the vast diaspora of emigrant workers. As it is not a<br>written language (the official written languages of Morocco being Standard<br>Arabic, French and recently also Berber), there is a dynamic process of<br>koinéization which is leading to a kind of spoken standard with no<br>normative interference. This makes Moroccan Arabic an interesting research<br>subject for standardization processes. Especially interesting is the<br>variety of the large group of speakers with a Berber variety as their home<br>language and Moroccan Arabic as their second language. <br><br>This structural sketch is based on a large corpus of recordings, both<br>narratives and spontaneous conversations, and attempts to extrapolate the<br>common core of the Moroccan koiné (known as darija).
