The scholarship will cover your training fees, transport and accommodation expenses.<br>

<br><ul><li style="margin-left:15px">Date: 18-19th Jan 2013</li><li style="margin-left:15px">Time: Fri – Sat, 0900-1700</li><li style="margin-left:15px">Venue: University of Edinburgh</li><li style="margin-left:15px">Type of event: Seminar and hands-on workshops</li>
<li style="margin-left:15px">Target number: 10-15 participants</li><li style="margin-left:15px">Trainer: Mourad Diouri, University of Edinburgh</li></ul><br><b>Aims of the Course</b><br>This training will be delivered using a blended style of combining theory-based seminars with hands-on practical workshops.<br>

<li style="margin-left:15px">to equip participants with the most essential, practical and easy-to-use e-Learning ideas, practicesand technologies to use within and beyond the language classroom</li><li style="margin-left:15px">
to introduce participants to a variety of (free) online educational tools and showcase how to integrate</li><li style="margin-left:15px">them effectively in teaching the four key language skills (Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening)</li>
<li style="margin-left:15px">to build participants’ confidence, knowledge and creativity to inspire them to use technology to their advantage</li></ul><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:12.727272033691406px">Due to time restrictions, the programme will not go into great detail, but rather will be provided in short "bite-sized" chunks</span><br style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:12.727272033691406px">

<li style="margin-left:15px">Tuition fees and registration</li><li style="margin-left:15px">Transportation expenses (for an economy class ticket within the UK and for a max. of £150)</li><li style="margin-left:15px">Accommodation expenses for a maximum of 3 nights in Edinburgh (successful applicants must arrange their own accommodation)</li>
<li style="margin-left:15px">Lunch, and refreshments during the two day training period</li><li style="margin-left:15px">Dinner for the first day of the training</li></ul><br><b>Who can apply?</b><br><ul><li style="margin-left:15px">

</ul><br><b>Conditions of Scholarship</b><br><ul><li style="margin-left:15px">In return for the scholarship, you are required to write a report on the training attended including a reflective summary of the main areas which will be</li>
<li style="margin-left:15px">/have been of use to you in your professional practice and how did you/will make the most of the skills acquired.</li><li style="margin-left:15px">The scholarship will be paid on submission of a satisfactory report within four weeks of the training.</li>
