Subject:Memorial Service for Farouk Mustafa<br><br><font style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px">A date has been set for a memorial gathering commemorating the life and work of Farouk Abdel Wahab Mustafa, Ibn Rushd Profesorial Lecturer in Arabic at the University of Chicago, who passed away on <span><span>April 3</span></span>.  The </font><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px">memorial will be held on </span><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px"><span>Friday, May 31, 2013</span></span><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px">, at </span><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px"><span>3 pm</span></span><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px">, in Breasted Hall in the Oriental Institue (1155 East 58th Street, Chicago, IL 60637).  Farouk's friends, colleagues, and students are all cordially invited to attend.  I will look forward to seeing some of you there.</span><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px"><font color="#888888"><br>
