<br><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px">On the other hand, people drive on the right in Japan although the country was not a a British colony in the past. This made me curious during a week-long visit donkey's years ago.</span><br style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px">

<br style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px"><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px">A former British professor of mine once told me that driving a vehicle was initially modeled on horseback riding. The rider stayed on the left side of the road to have enough elbow room to use his right hand when need be to draw his sword that dangled on his left side.</span><br style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px">
