<br style="font-size:13.333333969116211px;font-family:arial,sans-serif">Dear Colleagues,<br><br>we have the pleasure to announce that the 15th Afro-Asiatic Meeting will be organized in Rome by the Sapienza University. The planned dates are 24 to 26 September 2014.<br>
<br>Paper proposals on the synchronic, diachronic or comparative analysis of any language or group of languages belonging to the Afro-Asiatic linguistic family (Berber, Chadic, Cushitic, Egyptian, Omotic, and Semitic) are welcome.<br>
<br>We are also planning a Special Focus Session devoted to the South Semitic linguistic branch and papers relating to this topic are very encouraged. Further panels can be envisaged following a suggestion of a group of participants.<br>
<br>As in the previous meetings, we are sure that also this in Rome will be an occasion to promote fruitful discussion and debate exploring the current state of scholarship and issues involved in the application of new approaches and models in the vast and challenging field of Afro-Asiatic Languages.<br>
<br>Registration:<br><br>If you wish to offer a paper, please contact <a href="mailto:afroasiatic.rome@gmail.com" target="_blank">afroasiatic.rome@gmail.com</a>, before 31 January 2014, indicating:<br><br>1. The name(s) of the contributor(s);<br>
<br>2. Full contact details (address, email and telephone);<br><br>3. Affiliation(s);<br><br>4. The title of the proposed paper;<br><br>5. Three keywords describing the topic of your paper.<br><br>An abstract will be required by 30 April 2014 after the 2nd Call.<br>
