Reclaiming Canadian Indigenous Languages: Round Table, Posters, Talk: deadline for abstracts 20 February

The Canadian Linguistic Association (CLA) and the Canadian Association for Applied Linguistics (CAAL) are co-hosting a special session "Reclaiming Canadian Indigenous Languages" on 3 June 2013 at their meetings at the Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences, Victoria, BC. The event includes an invited talk by Dr Peter Jacobs, University of Victoria and Skwxwu7mesh Nation, a poster session, and a round-table discussion facilitated by Dr Lorna Williams, University of Victoria and Lil'wat from the St'at'yem'c First Nation.

The deadline for abstracts/ proposals for the poster session is 20 February 2013. Please see the link for further information. Presenters may be members of the CLA or CAAL or members of the public.
