2016 Dene Languages Conference will be held in Yellowknife, Northwest
Territories, Canada, at the Explorer Hotel, on Monday-Tuesday June 6-7 2016, hosted
by the Yellowknives Dene First Nation and co-organized by the Alaska
Native Language Center and Goyatıkǫ̀ Language Society.<br><br>The
Dene Languages Conference is the world's most important annual
conference for the study of Dene (Athabascan) languages, bringing
together linguists, educators, language learners, and language activists
from all parts of Denendeh and beyond. We will send out additional
updates over the next several months including a call for
papers, invitations to invited speakers, announcement of conference
theme, etc.<br><br>The Yellowknives Dene First Nation looks
forward to welcoming you to the city of Yellowknife (Beghúúldescheé /
