Hi Hala (and everyone else),

I would also be interested in discussing the topics you listed - it occurred
to me that it's a sad thing that they have so much in common with each
other.  I took a look at 2 of van Dijk's bibliographies (Media and Terrorism
& News and Media Discourse) and made a list of articles that look pretty
interesting (listed below).  I put those that are unlikely to be available
electronically at the end.

I have also received a book chapter from John Richardson for an upcoming
book on Islamophobia.  He said that our group is welcome to read it, and he
would be happy to hear any feedback we have.  Is anyone interested?
