A chairde\an,

[BE]
I need some data on Scottish Gaelic 'is' and 'tha'
for a term paper on semantics comparing these two verbs
with Spanish 'ser' and 'estar'.
I would be really grateful if a native speaker or
a native speaker you know could translate a
few (about 15) test sentences into Gaelic.
almost native speakers and data on Irish Gaelic also welcome.

If interested, mail me at
   maria at ling.ed.ac.uk

I'm cross-posting to celtling, gaelic-l and soc.culture.celtic;
sorry for any duplicates.

Tapadh leibh,

Maria
