Hi Tonio,

I'm not sure that I know the answer to your question, but the answer,
I assume would be something like "the same analysis as purpose
clauses in English". But thats not very helpful. I suspect that
what we have here is a clear case of a prepositional complemnetizer
like ENglish "for". Note that there are other infinitival clauses
in Irish that take a prepositional complementizer:

        .... gan an teach a tho/ga/il

etc.
