They are places where native and non- can share alike in discussions. I
have found Celtling useful on occasion, but definitely geared more to
serving the American and German universities above all (it would be great
if discussions here were to be translated into Irish/Breton, etc., for the
benefit of those actually labouring in the field, but translation services
seem to be one-way traffic mostly, which is a pity, because that must
lessen the belief one has cherished that a visiting scholar may actually
have something useful to offer the natives, in return for having his/her
career path facilitated). Please read this straight comment without
prejudice from the heart, and consider what truth it might hold, and the
effect following from it on your future, as well as on ours.
