not sure what this error means

Shelley,

	This message means that the begin time inside the bullet of current tier is smaller than begin time of the previous tier. You can use ESC-a command or "Mode->Expand bullets" menu to see the actual bullet's values. Bullet's format is "Begin number"_"End number". In your example bellow I think you will find similar to this example:

*CHI:		<previous tier> •8719_9938•
*MOT:	[- spa] vamos. •719_8719•

This situation can occur if bullets were inserted using Sonic Mode. You can fix this error by either switching the order of tiers or changing the begin bullet time, depending on which change corresponds to the media's time flow. CLAN always expects to have tiers listed in an increasing time order. So, a tier that is spoken first must always precede all following tiers in a transcript.

If this is not the case in your transcript, then please email to me directly the transcript in question and I'll try to figure out what else could be wrong.
