Lists of word classes in English

Dear Chibolts,

Does anybody know if it is possible to get a list (frequency) of word
classes? In other words, what I need is a counting of every
grammatical category of words in a piece of English writing (i.e. how
many verbs, nouns, prepositions, determiners, etc. are there).

Any suggestion will be most welcome.
