updating message

Dear ChiBolts and Info-CHILDES,

    Many of you will find that, when you start up CLAN, it will say that a new version is available.  There is a button to click that suggests that it will automatically update CLAN for you.  Unfortunately, for older versions of CLAN, clicking this button doesn't really work to download CLAN.  For newer versions, going forward, it will.  So, when you see this dialog with an older version, please don't be disconcerted when you find that clicking the Update button doesn't really do anything.
