Sonic mode - replayed bullets cut off

Hello,

My students encountered a problem with sonic mode:

Søren:
When ever I play the same bullets twice, or try to listen to the same 
highlighted part of the sonic wave, about half of the sound gets cut off. 
If I listen to bullet B once, then listen to bullet A, and then B again, 
everything is fine - It's only when I play the same thing twice in 
succession...

Mie:
I have that issue too - it usually works if you cut it off and try again - 
like just keep pressing f4 even though it's still playing - don't know if 
that's the best solution, but it works most of the time for me

They don't know how the problem started. Do you know what they can do to 
fix it?
