Getting automated speech onset times

Dear experts. 
I have a novice question:
Is CLAN able to automatically calculate speech onset time without some one 
marking it manually?  A very basic metric that detects the onset of voice 
from when the recording started? 
If not, does anyone have any advise on how to do this/which software to use 
please? 
I have a large number of normal speaker recordings of single words, and I 
want to calculate the speech onset ideally automatically.
