<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">I have a large number of transcripts (N = 700?) that I would like to convert from SALT format to CHAT format. Is anyone aware of a macro, program, or method that I could use to painlessly change the formatting of a large number of American English transcripts. In general, we are using MLU and the number of different word roots spoken by the child and mother as our main variables of interest, so some parts of the formatting would be less important than others. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. </FONT></P>
